Lovely overall experience. Good base for 1 night in Girvan, gorgeous hotel. Location - lovely and magnificent, just next door to Culzean Castle, and the garden. Also, in the middle of the city. Extremely comfy bed, lovely bathroom and central heating, a dining area, and a seating area in the room. The view from the window to garden. Affable employees with nice manners...

The value for money at Maxwelston Farmhouse was excellent, and the room exceeded my expectations with its fresh and comfortable decor. The location was peaceful and the staff, particularly Gillian, were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
The only suggestion for improvement would be to add more variety to the breakfast items, perhaps including some additional options for those who prefer a cooked breakfast.

I had the best 'first night away from home' sleep at this charming farmhouse. the bed was incredibly comfortable, like sleeping under a cloud. the room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with plenty of hanging space. the bathroom facilities were top-notch, and the entire place was quiet and peaceful despite being located on a main rural road. the owner, Gillian, was very helpful and accommodating. I also enjoyed the delicious continental breakfast. the location was perfect, just a short drive from Girvan where I was attending a festival. I would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

I loved chilling in the shared lounge, it was like being with strangers in my own living room. The garden was so charming, perfect for taking selfies. And thank goodness for the free WiFi, how else would I update my Instagram?
Oh, the nearest airport was only 42 km away, such a pity it wasn't right next door.
